An adventure indeed! Glad you missed the power line, and all is returning to a more normal state.

ah, the smell of wet people and mildew in the morning! cynicallynaive October 21 2006, 05:23:48 UTC
I think i've had that smell in my car, although i don't recall when i last had enough friends to fill up a car like in your story.

Thanks for finishing this! Quite enjoyable. And i too am glad you missed the power lines.

i am a fan of missing power lines, at least when "missing" is a verb as opposed to an adjective (or would that be a gerund...? gah >.< ).

as for the people, what can i say? i have a well-liked roommate ^_^; eh heh

Are you going to give us a teaser: "next time, on 'an ordinary adventure'" or "scenes from the next 'an ordinary adventure'"?

probably not until i have another ordinary adventure. i might actually get a comic up and running. it would be about wheaton/christian college life in general, working title="generic wheaties."

I tried to email your address listed as your Jabber login, but apparently it's a dummy address. (Doh!)

So here's what i said:

I'm just going through some turmoil this week associated with botching my first "real" freelance project.

You wouldn't happen to know of a career where I can make longwinded posts in people's LJs for a living, would you? :-D

blessings,
Philip

i don't think it's a dummy, i think i typed it in wrong... XD
my easiest(?) one is just my lj account name at gmail.com, should you ever wish to reply and i have not corrected the error.

also, if i knew of such a job, i would be working it. currently, i'm going to start my first day at eb games tomorrow (glee! ...and apprehension?).

grace to you and peace through God our Father and our Lord jesus Christ.
