[Oh? Akito notices that and walks over, curious] It's a hologram...how'd you make it do that? [Don't mind him, he's kind of waving his hand through it experimentally, the bracelet he's wearing rolling on his arm, the bead the same shade of olive as Merlin's]

[tiercelet]

A...what? [Sort of giving Akito a horrified look as he just sticks his hand through the strange projection.] It's...an illusion, isn't it? Doesn't that that hurt?

[fanged_wings]

A hologram. It's not solid. [Shakes his head at the question of it hurting] It's kind of an illusion, I guess. And not really. It tingles a little, but it doesn't hurt. [Stops breaking it up and peers at it] I wonder if you can touch the things on it... [All the curious, it goes here]

[tiercelet]

[He watches him play with the illusion-hologram-thing, obviously fascinated.] I haven't seen anything like it.

[Merlin decides to test it himself, drawing his hand back when the tingling sensation reaches his wrist.] Well, whatever it is, I think something on the bracelet must have started it. [He frowns at the jewel, pressing it again and flinching when the illusion abruptly disappears.]

Oh! [Surprised when it vanishes] It's the jewel is it...? [Presses his own, then claps his hands happily when his own screen appears] How cool~

[He makes it vanish again out of curiosity, then notices the gem is the same colour as Merlin's] Oh, our bracelets are the same. Doesn't that mean we're in the same house?

[tiercelet]

[Merlin glances up from his own fiddling and realises the man's correct.] Yeah...I think so. That's what the maidservant said when she was explaining everything, right?

[He tilts the bracelet up so that the jewel catches a bit of the sunlight.] Wonder how they decided which house we would belong to. I don't even remember what the name of ours was.

[fanged_wings]

[Nods at that] It was Sigyn, I think. I'm not sure how they picked houses though... [Plays with his bracelet a little, thinking on how his other wasn't in the same house. It bothers him a tiny bit, but he'll ignore it for now]

I guess if we're going to be in the same house though, we might be seeing each other a lot. [He smiles at the taller teen] I'm Akito. Akito Wanijima.

[tiercelet]

Maybe one of the maidservants in the area will know--should've asked them when they first came around. [Now that his curiosity's been satisfied for the moment, Merlin turns his full attention to Akito, smiling.]

I'm Merlin! [He scans the area briefly.] Doesn't look like anyone I know is here, so it'd be great to meet everyone else.

It's nice to meet you, Merlin-san~ [He smiles happily and nods, looking around as well] Yeah, I haven't seen any of my friends either. But it's always good making more~ [Akito has an auto-friender ability almost, only not really] I wonder how many people there are here that have arrived here like us... [There seems to be a lot]

[tiercelet]

It looks like everyone here was taken like we were. [Merlin turns, taking in the number of people occupying the courtyard.] Haven't you noticed? The maids, the ones who were already here before, are grey like the rest of this place. Everyone who looks like us must be new.

[fanged_wings]

Yeah...the grey people are kinda creepy, to be honest. [A little quieter, just in case any of them are listening] But I guess you're right. There's a lot then. I wonder where everyone comes from. [Did everyone come from the same place, or different worlds? This world doesn't seem to be Earth after all, so maybe the others are from different places...]

[tiercelet]

I'm not sure... [That's something he's been wondering, too.] I don't recognise a lot of the clothing I see, and well...everyone must be from different lands. Kingdoms.

Whoever brought us here must have used a lot of power to accomplish this.

If they are gods, I guess they must have a lot of power. It's so strange...I didn't think anything like this existed. Gods and magic... [Akito hums a little, unsure] It's kind of unnerving, to suddenly get so much information at once...

[tiercelet]

Real gods or people pretending to be gods. [Until he's seen them and made his judgment, he'll stay wary of the ones who have taken so many people from their homes and brought them here.]

If they're that powerful, I wonder why they haven't given this place life themselves? Why do they need us?

[fanged_wings]

[That makes him wonder. Could they be pretending? Maybe...]

...maybe they can't. Maybe there's just...not enough of them? They brought a lot of people here...maybe this place needs a lot of people that will talk and stuff to be fixed. [He hums thoughtfully]

[Sigh.] Maybe. I wish they'd given us a better explanation earlier. Most of this is just us guessing.
