It's a strange sensation
I just hired the first member of my crew for the summer. I had three interviews today and one of them was a keeper.

One of the cool things about work is that days off actually mean something. Waking up without an agenda is a fabulous feeling. I think I'll go to Target today. I miss Target, it's been a while.
My return to retail is not going so well. I didn't think I would hate it as much as I do.

Ah shit!
I just got a phone call asking me to go on tour with Sesame Street at the end of February and I had to turn it down because the dates overlap with my job in Maine by three weeks. THREE WEEKS! The tour ends in Hawaii and I'm missing it. GAH ( Read more... ) -
Back on the Horse
Today I rejoin the workforce.
It's nothing major, and it's retail which I never wanted to do again, but it's something to fill my time and make some cash to pay the bills. There's hardly anything out there, so I'm just grateful to have something! I just keep telling myself "it's only temporary..." -
Work it out
Last week my parents bought an elliptical machine. Now I have no excuse for being out of shape.

*snort* My brother just returned Twilight and New Moon in exchange for Eclipse and Breaking Dawn!
I think I need to buy Twilight in hardback. My paperback has been read about a dozen times and is showing the wear and tear! 4 times by me and I've loaned it out to several others. The back cover is about to fall off. *sigh* She's been well loved ( Read more... ) -

My brother is reading the Twilight series. He borrowed the first two books and is already halfway through New Moon.
This amuses me to no end! At this rate he'll be reading Eclipse in a day or two! Hee hee!
