after spending damn near SEVEN HOURS in the library doing research...i got a ride home from a friend and Breakdown by Mariah was playing...took me BACK. I remember in high school when my bf broke up with me, one of the many times, that bastid...i typed up the words to the song and mailed them to him. the memories came flooding back...now i can't

That reminds me of Lauren Hill's song Ex Factor. Back in the day, when I tried to break up with my ex wife(we weren't married yet, at the time) I would play that song, and we would listen to it, practically crying, while we attempted to break things off... Or work them out. To this day, every time I hear that song, I wanna call her up and remind her "see, we really SHOULD have broke up" lol

But, if we did, then I wouldn't have had my oldest daughter. So it will always remain a momory, but never a regret.

We all learn from our experiences. Mariah's Breakdown is part of who you are today. Embrace it.
