The Other Dead Dave

Jun 05, 2009 00:32

Another icon of my youth gone. It has reached my ears that David Eddings died on the second, age 77.

A glass will be raised, as is usual, in memory of a man who co-created a whole bunch of books I still think helped me cope with school.

rRest in peace, and I hope you're with Leigh, wherever you are, David.

have to check with boys (big) about the plans for boys (little) and figure out who I'm feeding so I can do menu; pub, or bottle of wine in the garden?

Both have their own issues. Pub has the advantage of not being at home, and beer variety. Garden has the advantage of, well, less travel for you.
