Thankfully I don't feel dramatically different, although, I'm sure I will get rafts of over the hill, or fossil jokes today. I think I definitely will make an appearance on campus to get a new ID photo, since I'm also getting a new drivers license too.

Had a good, long day, of Driving from Winsted, CT to Charlotte, NC. It was relatively quick and painless. I think I may need to honestly study my posture in the car. It's great to be down here. I can't wait to have the week of relatively little seriousness.

Well, it's just another day of smashing technology. Things are legit annoying. Like Snow Leopard not printing well or fast or good. But then again the poster sized printer I'm using is acting like the JPEG I sent it is 90 gigs... it's only like a 44 meg file.

Maybe postscript encodes binary photo in PNM format...

This first week of Fall 2009 Semester is flying by. It's busy, fun, and sometimes overwhelming.

It's bedtime soon. I think indeed now is a good time to give up on my daapd server tinkering and get the shut-eye I need.

It looks like Google is opening up Latitude. And you can even make it not send you reminders that you're broadcasting your location to the world. I need to make something that produces a "guess" of where I am, because even "best effort" reporting is kind of "fuzzy" and bounces location around.

The rain is rather uninspiring. I think I will have to get breakfast and then figure out more. Something tells me this might involve going to work to clean my office and throw shit out. I think maybe an IKEA trip for frames might be in the cards.

Inglourious Basterds was ok. I don't know if I knew exactly what to expect and got something that was moderately decent. Resident Evil 5 from the little I've watched just now is... well, pretty bad. Had a nice walk going to get "fix a flat", the car we took lost a Valve Stem. Thinking Taco Bell might be in my near future ( Read more... )
