Ando. I think his name was Ando. Never got past S1 of Heroes so... its been a while. :D
I want to know what's on Steve's cast. I was actually distracted by this. He was going down stairs I think and there was writing but I couldn't read it so now I can't remember where the stairs led. :S
Ando! Right! I liked Ando he was really funny, much preferred him to Hiro. It's sad though that I watched Heroes with hope right until the bitter rubbish end and I still couldn't remember his name (and I remember really stupid things too).
I think I read somewhere that Kamakona had put an ad for his ice business on the cast, I think that's what they were joking about at the end but I was too distracted again by jealous!Danny that I don't remember a word of the conversation! Good job I'm watching it again when the SO gets home *g*
Well if, on rewatch, it turns out that that is what it says, let me know. :)
I prefered Ando to. He was sweet and unassuming and not quite as... obnoxiously "I can change things I can change things" which I found annoying. Surely a geek would get the problems of time travel, yeah? (I watched bits after S1 but I didn't really follow what was going on. I'm not even sure how many seasons there were. :S )
Well basically, there's a dead body which I suppose counts as plot and they use it to hang the Steve/Danny love off (rightfully so!). Some good character stuff this time though. I think I said to someone else, the X-Files was my first fandom so I've had enough plot for a lifetime of fandoms!
Last year at one point everything I was watching seemed to be full of dull heavy plot, eg Caprica, SGU, Flashforward, even V was a bit on the slow side.
At the moment my viewing seems to be dominated by shows based on characters, H5-0, Bones, Castle, House etc. where nothing underlying really changes from week to week - though I do enjoy watching them.
However, feel I need something that has a bit of both!
I think eventually the story will be the characters, or be more of the characters and the plots will possibly be focused around that. Because come on, Steve is a danger magnet! I suppose V is going that way as well with an overarching narrative?
In the early days of CSI I was crying out for character stuff and now the plot stuff is weaker and the character things are better but neither are at full strength. The grass is always greener! So I suppose I'm happy that with H50 we're getting more character stuff even if the plot is just about there if you squint :)
