His name is Ellis, and for some reason LJ won't let me post a picture, but you can see him on my other journal if you like.

I forget I have this account, because I've switched entirely over to my other one. One of these days I'll fork over the money to have the two combined and just have one journal. Just realized I've been using LJ for six years, almost daily for a lot of that. Suddenly I feel a little...old. Anyway. That's all.

I'm celebrating the completion of finals by abandoning myself to complete, guilt-free relaxation. I have almost two weeks until my summer internship starts, and I intend to read books. For two solid weeks, I will read books that I don't have to cite as sources, that I don't have to take notes on, that I don't have to read if I don't feel like it. ( Read more... )

I've had the entire afternoon to myself, like it used to be B.C. (before child). Matt took Owen to visit his family, and I have to go to work soon, but have thoroughly enjoyed my day of reading in my pajamas and eating chips for breakfast. I was all excited because I got the summer internship I applied for, and then my mood was killed by discovering that I got an 84 on my sedimentology test. That drops my total grade to a B. I CANNOT get a B in sedimentology! Well, we still have one test and a couple labs, so I could probably bring that up a little. Suck ( Read more... )
