summer's almost over. which usually means heading back to classes and such. only, you know... since i graduated it doesn't. i'm kind of pissed about that. i'd much rather take 18 hours of classes than be an adult, but... whatev. i'm trying to grow up. i just think its stupid.

i am now a licensed teacher by the state of north carolina. my licensure is in k-12 music education.

i miss my life
so... i miss my old life. i feel like my senior year has swallowed all of my fun. the only upside to this semester has been having sarah live with us. i miss going to hudson and hanging with the crew. i miss everyone freakin' spending time together. now it's like no one has time for anyone else except a significant other. i miss having ( Read more... ) -

i really like teaching. honestly. when i'm on a roll in a lecture or with an activity it's an amazing feeling. like the other week, i did a paideia seminar with my kids on plato's republic. the kids haven't been exposed to this sort of teaching, so i wasn't quite sure how it would go. about 20 ( Read more... ) -
