Today I transferred four times on the subway to get to work (from the 1 to the 3 back to the 1 then to the C and then to the A). The 'why' is not important here; what is important is recognising how unnecessary all of that was. In fact, it got me thinking about other things that are entirely uncalled for in daily life.

Please completely disregard yesterday's entry. Only my keen sense of irony is keeping me from deleting it altogether.

So seeing as I only have Internet access two days a week now (when I am at the Chemistry department), it looks like I'll have a weekly excuse to update. Hooray!

So I finally have a semblance of a plan for the summer. It looks like this: Monday and Tuesday I'll be working at the NYU Chemistry Department office, Tuesday evenings/Wednesday afternoons through Saturday I'll be babysitting. It's really great...now I just have to figure out about housing.

I really, really miss New York, even though I was there today, and I'll be there again tomorrow. Being 75% unemployed and "commuting" on babysitting days really makes it lose its sparkle. I don't belong there...and all I want to do is find a goddam job like NOW and move back.

I wish people I don't like would stop reading my journal. I don't know if you're trying to find references to your own rudeness or just make fun of it, but the fact is that I don't care enough about you or what you think to mention you in it, regardless of how nasty you are to me on a given day.
