I just finished peeling and seeding about 3 lbs. of Hatch green chile.

We found it in the local grocer -- not the upscale grocer, not the farmer's market, but the ratty little one down the road -- "Hatch" green chile, the sign said, and it looked right.

I did ask, but they said it just came in on the truck with the regular produce delivery.... First taste is EXCELLENT!
