Also, i'll totally challenge you to a love of turkey and dressing off ;) I will have my goth card removed from me for saying things, but i like Thanksgiving even better than Halloween. I'm a bit mopey that i won't get to cook for a bazillion people this year.

Also, xmas and other things that happen that time of year can bite me.

i so totally feel this. every single winter holiday ever can bite me. and family? yeah, fuck that noise. seriously. my mother a couple of years ago, in an apparent fit of amnesia, started leaning on me to do the family xmas thing. my sister, without talking to me, heard this going on and said to my mother a heartfelt, "what?! why do you want her here? she'll just spoil it for everybody!" i don't think i have ever been more grateful to my sister than at that moment
