The cause is pretty straight-forward, considering the whole "cut-off time" thing. It's a fragment of time that has been cut from the normal timeline. I wonder what it looks like on the outside, and whether we've seen it in chapter 1. Maybe this is the window in which Sakura was swapped?
Well we aren't really told exactly WHEN in the timeline of Clow koku they landed in, naturally, we'd think it's after Sakura and Syaoran have gone, but really it could be just any time, it could be thousands of years after they have departed (and thus the time in Clow is corrupted up by FWR). Since FWR's HQ is not in the Clow timeline... how would time flow in there? Maybe it doesn't... but time is so confusing @__@" especially in TRC
Don't think we would've seen this in chapter one (unless it's 1~2 panels) because the beginning was really just the whole thing with Syaoran getting home and them going to the Market and then running away.
Indeed, Fei Wang could be anywhere. I'm assuming that this is a slice of time where for him (and the gang, now) time flows normally, but it's a loop for everyone else. Furthermore, there's a corresponding "skip" in the normal timeline. Maybe it slides along the normal timeline, though.
By "seen it in chapter 1", I meant that if my "skip" assumption is correct, whether the skip happened somewhere between the beginning and end of chapter 1.
Maybe it's more a pattern of movements than walking back and forth. Maybe they're like standing by a stall repeating the same arm movement over and over again. It's incredibly creepy and ghoulish, does that mean that Clow Koku is nothing but a construct...
Because if it is... that would explain Sakura's Clow Read and Fujitaka being present at the same time but then it would raise the question who are Sakura and Syaoran? And could they be the ones from CCS?
Oooh it sounds interesting indeed. Wonder how that's going to be drawn. Creepy as it is, what concerns me more is how it will be drawn - I can't imagine. o.o;; Unless if they were using diagrams and things, I can't understand how they could do that 'naturally'.
Does that make sense?
Then again, does anything CLAMP does make sense? :P
Wonder how that's going to be drawn. I'm betting on a lot of reused panels. Like, 3-4 pages repeating the same panels over and over, maybe with some lines from the innocent bystanders getting repeated. Or maybe it -is- a videogame parody in which Shaoran walks up to someone, the person says something like, "The archaeologists have all gone home because of the storm," then Shaoran asks for more information, and the person repeats, "The archaeologists have all gone home because of the storm."
I'm gonna wait for more details before updating the post, but someone on 2ch just said that it's not repeating a couple of minutes, it's repeating a whole day.
... Hey, it's Groundhog festival in Clow-koku! (笑)

...This is so confusing.... if everyone is repeating their movements, why aren't our 3 heroes repeating theirs? ...But, what is the cause of this?!

Yes I know, I'm still hanging on to my theory.

Cough anyway yeah, especially the video game NPC parody seems more reasonable and fun. I'd like to see that happen, hehee~

I'm thinking more and more that there's something just very wrong with Clow Koku. This IS NOT helping.
