So..is it saying that when Doumeki saw Watanuki at the river, that was before they knew eachother or was it after they had already met?

If that's the turning point of their relationship, it's clearly after they met. Though I have no idea of when in the Holic timeline it'd fit. At least volume 5 if I must take a guess.

Well in volume 3 I think is when Doumeki is introduced in the manga. But I guess Watanuki knew him from before, no?

Because he didn't seem to "hate" Watanuki then since he accepted to have the "100 ghost story" (forgot the japanee name) at his temple.
