The Funeral has happened. It was a wonderful service, I couldn't fault it. Weather has been glorious all day. I admit i cried, but they really did my father justice. RIP dad.

My dad's funeral is the 23rd May. Guess that is when it will hit again..

So it's been a week already since my dad passed away. Man the time has flown. We have a funeral director coming to see us Monday, as we've found a place that does a funeral pretty cheap (£1695). RIP dad, i'm going to miss you so much. Passed away as we were travelling up to the hosptial this morning.

We got a call this morning to go up to dad as he's deteriorated overnight. He isn't expected to the last the day. I just got home and am just so upset know that it's coming.

We just had a phone call to say the hospital are moving my dad to another ward. Apparently the surgeons want him on the specific ward. Not sure why, didn't get told as to why. I just hope it's for rehab purposes than anything else ( Read more... )

Mom just got home from visiting dad. Turns out he may need another op as his stent has moved. Those things are supposed to not do things like that, yet that has happened twice now. 30% chance of survival if he does have an op (well was when he had an assessment a few weeks ago ( Read more... )

Dad really is getting worse, he's not all with it. He isn't talking right. The staff are not all that helpful. He has nothing to do, no proper tv or anything. I just want to cry, that's all i want to do now and I can feel myself going now.
