i have been trying not to give my opinion on shit lately, because I think I do it too much when it isnt asked for....but you asked for it :) its a sucky sounding answer, but its really the answer, at least it is in my life. you cant make someone feel a certain way, and you cant make someone sorry for something, and therefor it is probably impossible to get even. so my advice is for you to truly try to let it go...but not with a i dont give a fuck. you have to accept what it is for what it is, and then just let it go.
You needn't worry, Mr. Tomlinson. I never mind any piece of advice, any opinion, or any comment in general. You're a good guy, and you've got a good head on your shoulders. Please feel free to chime in any time. It doesn't bother me a bit.
Anyhow, that's the whole problem: I thought it had already been let go. I never think about them any more, unless I see them. She just kinda popped in out of the blue, and it weirded me out. I have accepted it for what it is... it's just that IT is a horrible thing, done in a horrible way. So, I don't know if that helps or not.
Thing is, I don't know what else to do. You're right, you can't make them sorry... and even if they apologized a thousand times, at this point, it wouldn't matter a bit.
Thanks for the free advice, anyhow. Like I said, your opinion is always welcome. I gots no quarrel with youse. :)

I've had the dreaded ex- randomly pop into my dreams in the past, the last dream I had I got the closure I always wanted and when I woke up I felt like a new woman.
A break-up can be a blow to the ego (why would (s)he want to be with that piece of Sh!t when (s)he could have had me?) and that can linger in your subconscious for a while.
The bottom line is she wasn't the girl for you and this experience has helped you grow as a person (to be the man you are today) and the exciting part, that means "she" is still out there, and the new and improved JG is just waiting to meet her ; )
Be the best JG you can be, chin up, and keep on keep'n on!
