Because I feel that a question or two would be in order:

1. In numbered lists, do you prefer the numbers to have a period following the number or a closed parenthesis?

2. Is that how you spell parenthesis? I think that it is, but I'm not sure.

3. If you had to choose between riding a horse or running for a mile, which would you choose?

4. Why do dogs howl at emergency sirens?
