Hectic Ministry Business

Dec 17, 2003 13:23

It seems that I shall have to shorten my family time this Christmas for Ministry business. Not that we are Christians, mind you, but it is a time to spend with your family. And more importantly a time away from such ignorant wastrels such as Fudge. But it seems that I shall have to curtail my time in order to ensure that current raids do not sink ( Read more... )

I plan to spend the Holiday with my beau, where we will usually spend a late night walking paths in the cemetary across from his house, talking over fags. It's in an old, historical part of town, from the days of Muggle slavery. Most of the time, we don't retire to bed until daybreak. After sleeping a good few hours, the day is to be spent with other mates who have no real family plans for Christmas, and enjoy hot drinks and spices.

There were days of Muggle slavery? That is brilliant. Enslave them like House Elves. Finally a use for them!

It also sounds like a lovely holiday tradition and rather soothing as well.

I will be practicing Unforgivables on unsuspecting, gluttonous muggles.

well, gluttony of presents and good food is a given. and after the presents and food have lost my interest, i'll spend my time in a more productive manner. cursing muggle brats who decide to destroy the sanctity of my home by howling at my door in what they mistakenly believe to be 'carols'. using imperius on the neighbor's cat when it comes to filch my cat's food (i can understand a general dislike for cats, but the fact is that he is mine, and that makes him a king and all other felines vermin in my estimation).
:) yes, christmas is all around.
...
i was thinking that music would present a diversion as well, and i wondered if you had any suggestions in what you would choose as a background lull for the season of Yule.

Ahh, music. Well, I do have a little bit of a penchant for Sinatra. I know he is a muggle, however I do find his music strangely uplifting.

These Hollidays...hummm..let's see. I will be just down the road from your Manor, im my own. Father and I will spend some time at Ravenhold Manor, then I believe that we were to go to the Malfoy Yule Ball. SO there will be greed, gluttony (of all sorts *wink*) and what ever opportunities cross my path. I do hope to spend some of my holiday with Draco. I love to best him at one on one quidditch in the ice and snow. Makes the fall all the more comfortable. *smirks* And what about you Mr. Malfoy? What will you be occupying your time outside of the Ministry and the Yule Ball?

Devona

P.S.
Please tell Narcissa that I do hope she is doing well, thank you.

I shall have little time between the Ministry and the Yule Ball. I shall likely visit you know who and pass on glad tidings as well.
