[Selphie's just on her way home from school herself and was about to head off toward the Battle Dome for the usual daily training when she sees one very upset looking Elicia. Forgetting about going to the Dome, Selphie sits down beside the little girl and hugs her in silent support. She doesn't remember her mother in the least but even Selphie knows this kind of pain. Her friends have left one after the other in the near ten months that she's been here.

Besides, a small child doesn't deserve to be alone to deal with this kind of pain.]

[She'll definitely (very gladly) take that hug, reaching over and returning it-it's very comforting, hugs. She was used to getting them, when she was sad or upset... When she speaks up, it's a muffled noise from Selphie's shoulder.]

[Now that's a question Selphie doesn't know how to answer. She knows that it's better that Gracia isn't here anymore because they can't experiment on the mother. Even as Selphie ponders how to answer this, she holds Elicia a little closer.]
