[ He catches the entry on his way to pick her up, as luck would have it. For a few minutes, his feet are rooted to one spot on the streets no matter how much he tells himself he should be moving, Elicia is waiting- and he doesn't know what to say to help it stop hurting, but he should.

It's nearly all he can do to keep his voice steady and keep walking; but he'll be strong because she needs him to be. ]

[She offers up a little, weak 'mmhm' before resuming her silent, huddled form; she wouldn't cry in front of papa-she'd be strong for him. She could be strong, too...]

[No words needed, papa. She rises to her feet, looking unsure, as if she expected him to just vanish, too-and then she runs for a much needed Papa Hug. Don't expect your shirt to get away without some tears on it.]
