The Caves

I planned a trip to Rocky on Saturday in order to check out Mt Etna national park which has a quite extensive cave system, which is home to the little Bent Wing bat, which is really small, making it also really cute. We didn't get to see any bats, they dwell deep within the cave until sunset (kinda makes you wonder how they know it is sunset),

Your day sounds much like mine, only where yours had a cave, mine had a library.

It would be cool to be there with the butterflies.

If I do go I'll take a camera.

Of course, it would kind of suck pretty heavily if suddenly the butterflies all felt the "call of nature".

I don't think butterflies can do that. I think they get all of that out of the way while they are catepillars. I think everything they eat in their adult stages goes into making more catepillars.
