I planned a trip to Rocky on Saturday in order to check out Mt Etna national park which has a quite extensive cave system, which is home to the little Bent Wing bat, which is really small, making it also really cute. It's a sad state of affairs when a town of 30,000+ people does not even have a single book shop, but that is indeed the case here. The only store in town that condescended to sell books exclusively, Dymocks I think, has gone out of business. As many of my friends will attest, my parents house was always very secure. Some were often heard to remark that gaining entry to Fort Knox, would afford less challenges. My little feline friend returned last night. It really is so cute, it actually followed me into my unit, which I had inadvertently left open as I rushed inside to find something for it to eat and drink. I just met the most adorable kitten that was playing in the garden of the block of units that I live in. It doesn't have a collar, but it seemed to be in quite good health. They say absence makes the heart grow fonder, and I'm inclined to agree. Having returned to Newcastle after some time away, I was reminded in short order just why I had left. I've just finished "The Well of Lost Plots", by Jasper Fforde. The third in his Thursday Next series. I have to say that I'm enjoying this series immensely.
