I'm unclear about what you're asking. Are you seeking to confirm your dx on the strength of your partner's sex drive, or asking whether it's typical of Aspergian males, or males at all

As a personal aside, having never had much of a sex drive, I don't believe in sex being a 'need' in the same way as hunger or a bathroom call.
Off-topic, but having gone from little sex drive to an occasionally-bothersome drive, I can say that it's not a 'need' so much as a low-level compulsion. I don't NEED sex (in fact am still a virgin), but my brain will randomly have sexual thoughts, attempt to linger on sexual thoughts, and try to convince my rational thinking that it's appropriate to think about sex even when it's inappropriate. It would be easy, if I didn't put thought into analyzing it, to conclude that it was an unsatisfied 'need'. That's why people claim it is, in my opinion.

I know that there is a correlation between bipolar disorder and high sex drive. Especially in a hypomanic or manic phase. Since you know he has a bipolar dx, there's no need to look farther.

I've been a horny teenager and I've fallen asleep at orgies and I've been an ancient wreckage. Nowadays I'm just a brain in a bell jar. But I've been equally autistic throughout.

Autistic but not male. My sex drive is pretty ridiculously high, if it helps, but I think that's more physical than it is related to my autism. I mean I think my enjoyment of sex is largely because I'm autistic but I'd enjoy it even if I had a low sex drive.

I know for myself,  I'm a pretty sexual individual.   boyfriend is getting used to that.  but yes...up until I was a few years ago I was really bad.
