I love the diamondy bit leading to the front door. It's the sort of pretty-but-pointless thing that modern houses lack and leaves them with so little character. The knocker is terrific too (so many jokes to make about complimenting people on their knockers on the internet....)

My knocker is going to look even better once I give it a polish (I'll stop now).

The house has got lots of original features which I love, it's so nice to have so many things survive.

It reminds me a bit of a house I lived in at Uni; that was tatty and decrepit but had some lovely features in it.

It needs a lot of work doing to it, but then we'd have never afforded it if it was work free.
