I am finally in T-town, and I couldn't be happier. Freedom feels good.
I'm living in the Tut and can see Bryant-Denny Stadium from my window.
But the ambulance went by at least 5 times today. What's up with that?

My summer has been busy and rewarding.*
I spent Monday and Tuesday in Tuscaloosa for orientation and I can't put into words how thrilled I am.*
Life doesn't feel so empty and vain when you're not living it that way.
Life is stunning.* And I wish more people were able to say that. It hurts to think that some can't.

(*In more ways than one.)

It's so liberating to be done with high school. It feels like I just took a giant sigh for the first time in 4 years.
I am so looking forward to Alabama and a new environment and new friends and new experiences.
Summer is going to be amazing. This first week has already been awesome.
Life is so good. I hope yours is too. I'm elated.

Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
