I will be the first to admit I can be a cranky asshole when it's blazingly hot outside, but its getting to the point where I'm an ass nearly everyday.  Seattle needs some cooler weather, stat!

A Miller truck carrying cases and kegs filled with beer has tipped over on Highway 195 just outside of Pullman in Whitman County. Washington State Patrol says that no one was hurt and the driver escaped with minor injuries.

NEW YORK - Students are using a new ring tone to receive messages in class -- and many teachers can't even hear the ring.

Some students are downloading a ring tone off the Internet that is too high-pitched to be heard by most adults. With it, high schoolers can receive text message alerts on their cell phones without the teacher knowing.

Went and saw Cars last night with a Tequila Sunrise onhand.  Even though that movie goes against everything I believe (Owen Wilson being funny, Nascar being entertaining, Red-necked hicks being able to make coherant sentences, etc...), it was a pretty funny movie.  The tequilla probably helped with that aspect.

First week of new classes on the Palouse. Exciting as ever. Living with Staci is kinda fun, but I think that for the week that Joe is here will be the most trying of the 6.
