I just wanted to thank everyone for thier support. And to say things are working out really well in a lot of ways. Medicare/Medicaid is willing to cover for Mom to go into assisted living, which was a shock. This means she'll have her own apartment, and food, clothes, everything will be paid for and there will be nursing staff on site as well,

It sounds like everything is working out for the best! Keep us posted! So is the next step finding a place for you to move to? How is your mom and everyone else involved taking all of this so far?

Well, I'll actually still hang out till Oct. I need $, and to get things paid off before I leave. Next main step is finding homes for the Dogs. Also I HAVE to get Ko and Nikki to the Vet, before anything. Ko's been loosing hair, but I didn't realize how badly till last night when I was cuddling her and saw that she's near bald on the underside of her neck. Nik has some sort of little cyst that needs to be looked at. I need to know whats going on with them, before I place them...

I wonder if there is a way to find out if your mom can take any of them and if so, how many. I guess since she needs living assistance one would be the max? Then maybe you could find a place that accepts pets as well? That would all depend on your budget and if you would do an apartment or a house. I was cruising apartmentfinder and did see some Salt Lake area complexes that were decently priced and accepted small dogs for $35 additional rent per month, but I don't know how many they'd allow or if the $35 would cover more than one if they even allow more than one. $35 more per month for pets is pretty decent, it's usually $50 for even a Chihuahua up here. Sorry, I keep getting mixed up with how many you have exactly, but I know there are a lot of babies ^^; Keep us posted of course

Oh... and as to everyone else, that would be mostly my Aunt. All my friends and nieghbors backed this. Sue is being wierd about it, but she can't do it either... I think she sees that this is for the best. I hope.
