Please do keep me in the loop. I'm so sorry to hear of your mom's death. She was a "forever" friend I've known since you and Brad were little. I will miss her voice on the phone-I will miss her presence in the world. Call me if there's anything I can help you figure out-you've got my number.
She was terrifically proud of you and your brother.
I'm sorry to hear about your loss Sarah, and I do miss her very much, and won't forget the last time I saw her when we wnet to go see Sweeny Todd together. I also haven't forgotten what a great professor she was, and how when I first visited her in her office I thought she was so cool because she had all the action figures set out everywhere. And I remember how she went to my poetry reading and got my lilys that smelled so good for days, and how she went to my MA thesis defense and made me that great gift with the picture of Ian McDiarmid and me. Those things meant a lot to me. She was a wonderful professor, and more importantly, a wonderful friend that I miss very much.
Sarah, I'm so terribly sorry. I will call tomorrow to find out how I can help you and your brother. Please contact me at any time if there is any help that you need. Your mom was a very special person, and I'm glad that I can say that I was at least a part-time friend.
