But i like the insane police story quotes. Compared to this Inspector Fowler seemed almost competent :D

You have never felt the pain of trying to find out who made a particularly cute icon so you could find more in the same style, only to be told people didn't remember where they got if from. *sobs* It is a trauma!

#47 is making me so incredibly happy, you have no idea xDDD (Maybe the writer forgot for moment that they weren't writing for 'A Touch of Cloth'?) #29 has a very nice Bond-feel to it, I love it! He looks so... sassy. ;D

Kent has all the qualities of a brooding poet, and he even looks like one. Makes for very pretty icons! :D

#43 might be one of my favourite icons I've ever done. Glad it is to your liking. ^^

Yes, yes you should. I could talk to you about it then. It's wonderful! (if my obsession with it on tumblr didn't convey that yet). Just be sure not to do anything else while you're watching it, or you will miss half the jokes. More than half the jokes. I don't know how often I watched it by now, but I keep finding new ones (and the DVD had an added, bloody hilarious entire 3 minute sequence that was cut for the broadcast version. Can't wait for the DVD of part 2 and what hidden treasures it may contain).

And nooow I remembered that failte once asked for a Whitechapel AU set in the early 1900's, I think. Kent would be so adorable as an innocent little poet trying really hard to be all bohéme and stuff like his drunk and drugged up friends... oh the possibilities! Can someone please put Chandler in an opium den. Please.

It has only four episodes (2 two-parters) so you might have to do some cleaning up after all, to escape the boredom. *g*

But I am curious to read your reactions to the show. ^^

Aah, sounds wonderful. And then WWI happen, and at first he is one of the romantic home-front war poets, but then his world get torn apart and he gets all melancholy and bitter (and they could run into baby!Nithingale and his Moriarty!Master or whatever that AU was all about ^^)

After the trouble you went to I think ITV should shoot a new scene explaining the scene was a mould based hallucination/the work of Beelzebub/or due to the poor lighting: "I'm sorry I thought you were someone else."

Oh that would nice. I have little hope that they will be able to resolve that situation that is not going to make any viewers cringe. Why they ever thought it would be a good idea to do this to the characters I have no idea. :/

I feel your pain. The new season is a nightmare from an icon-maker's perspective. Not only is it too dark, there is hardly any colour either. And when there is, the image is often so blue you spend hours fixing the colour-balance so the characters don't look like they've been dead for a week!

I believe you. I am so jealous of people who icon for normal shows right now. Shows that don't think they're Hammer Horror parodies. ;)
