Go the walk-in clinic. It can't hurt, and it may help. You might need a short dose of prednisone to knock out the irritation.

Good luck!

Prednisone? I hope not. I have juvenile diabetes, and any kind of steroid would just knock my blood sugars through the ceiling and give me new problems to deal with. :-(

Are you sure that it your asthma, not a back of the nose or throat thing?

Yes, I'm sure. It's not a tickle at the back of my throat. It comes from down in my chest.

If I get a cold, the flem running down my throat will clog my lungs.
But It's mostly a good idea to be seen at some place like a urgent care, or a minute clinic (I don't know what they call them there)

I don't have any phlegm, and my sinuses are more clear than they are normally, even. In terms of urgent care or minute clinics, my choices are the hospital emergency room or a walk-in clinic. A walk-in clinic will handle anything that doesn't need an emergency room, whether it's a bloody nose or a broken arm.
