thank you! i'm glad to be back. :) i knew eriksson was an idiot but i didn't think rooney would blow this huge chance for his entire team. oh god, i can't even talk about john crying, or the rest of them. even rio, who i've never liked much. i just wanted to cuddle him. i seriously almost cried myself.

i didn't watch the match until the penalty kicks. what happened with rooney? i was so sad for stevie and carra. and all of the english boys even though i did want portugal to win. but wasn't ricardo awesome? just wow. i think frank is trying to leave but chelsea won't let him. at least, i think it was frank that said he wanted to go to spain.

yay. :) did you look at the post i left for you then? germany is such an awesome team. it'd be brilliant if we could somehow watch the next match together so i can blather on about them to you. :P

rooney basically stomped on carvalho's bits and when the ref came over to call the foul, cris came over and rooney got in his face and pushed him away. so no one's sure if the card was for the foul or the push, but yeah. i'm pretty pissed off at him. and beckham got hurt, but i don't blame him at all, you can't do anything about injuries. i just really, really wish stevie and carra had gotten theirs. watching that was so horrible for me.

i did! i already knew about metzelder, and that i kind of liked him, but i've never seen per before. he's really pretty.

i'm just sad that both spain and england are out. i don't have anyone to cheer for anymore. i guess i'd like a germany/portugal final best, but we'll see if that happens. my money's on an italy/brazil final. which i won't watch. that would be completely stupid if cris got shit for this in england. like he's just supposed to miss? i don't think so. he wants to win the cup with his team, not let england go on just because he plays there most of the time.

ugh. rooney, that's just not nice. i love per. but then again, i love the entire team. :) ack. don't say that! i've got to keep up the belief that germany can defeat italy. but if italy keeps diving the way they have and the refs fall for that shit, i don't know. i firmly believe that germany can defeat any team that they want know though, if they play on top of their game. who knows what'll happen with cris? some english fans are rabid. they boo their own players sometimes. (one of the most popular to boo has been owen hargreaves who i love.) and a group of them once chanted "we hope your kid dies of cancer" to david beckham. i don't know if anything'll happen but this was supposedly the team that was supposed to be able to win the cup.

I'm so torn it's not even funny :( After Holland vs. Portugal I thought I was supporting Portugal, but during this match...so torn >.<

I also wish England would stop w/ the penalty shoot-outs crap. It's gone on for years and enough is enough. They have good players, but at this point it's all mental. If they trained enough and got their heads together, they could blitz by on penalties w/ the players they have.

SO DID I. i supported them all through that match but during this one, i had no feelings for them at all. it was all england.

yeah, i'm not sure why they didn't get it. is it mental? because when stevie stepped up, i told my mom and sister, "oh, this one's so in." but then, nothing. and lampard? i didn't expect him to miss either. it's just, ugh. i wanted them through so badly.
