i got my band newsletter today. ugh. i hate that letter. anyways, marching band practice begins on august 1 at 8am. the music for the show this year looks interesting. it's based off of various symphonies by samuel barber. we've had awesome music the last two years, with holst's "the planets" and mussorgsky's "pictures at an exhibition", so i hope ( Read more... ) -
