di, you wanted to see my desk and bookshelves. i went a bit overboard with the pictures and explanations. i couldn't help it! i practically live at my desk. :P and my clarinet lessons were canceled and i was bored. (and avoiding my summer reading. *sigh*) anyways, i rambled on for a bit. :D i hope you like the insight into my life.

thanks. :) i rather like them too. i'm so happy my computer is in my room. i spend so much time on it after all. my family has two computers and my sister, who doesn't actually really live at home anymore, and i are the only ones that use (or even know how to) them. so there's no competition.

aw, thanks again. :) i love it when people say i have good taste in things. i have a journal for random stuff but more often than not it's written on scraps of paper. :P i just reach for the nearest thing. that's why i like moleskines so much. they have a pocket!

i'm the most random person though. when i hear a word that i like, i have to write it down. it's insane. in my pictures, i don't show it. but sometimes, my desk will be covered with post-its with just words written all over them. sometimes, i don't even look at them. i just like knowing that they're there. :P i'm odd.

my dad didn't know anything about computers. my mom only knows how to turn it on, i think. :P whenever i run into trouble with it, i ask my sister or my neighbor (who's job is to actually fix computers :P) for help.

i keep a pen and paper in my bed at all times. :) it's just that i have a loft bed and climbing down the ladder to write something down gets annoying after awhile. :P randomness is very cool. *nods*

aw, thank you. :) you are way too nice to me. i love you and your comments. anyways, i love my room too. it's so completely random and cluttered. the one problem i have with it is that i can never get it clean. i spend too much time in here. :P

You have the same computer as me! *cracks up* I really loved reading all this by the way. :D I always enjoy looking at photos of people's rooms. You can tell so much about a person from their rooms.

"i like it. it's fun to turn inside out and read all the info on it, even though i know it all already."

that's cool. :) i've had this thing for years. i can't even remember when i got it. i think it may be six years old or so. yay! i'm glad you liked reading my blathering about my room. :D i just love it all so much. whenever (if i ever) get the rest of it clean, i'll have to show some more pictures, if you want. i love pictures from people in general. i think it's really interesting to see.

i'm silly like that. :P

So much love! Lookit those books! I have a camera just like that, still using it to take pictures.

I wish I had a nice desk like that.

i love my books. :) i have so many and those in the photographs aren't even close to all of them that i have. you do? i want to use the camera but it really needs to be cleaned. the last pictures that i took with it had spots on them.

it's a pretty cool desk. :) the one problem i have with it though is that the part of it that holds up my computer monitor isn't strong enough so i have to have it propped up with a stack of books. :P

Tis true, you can never have enough books, they are useful even when you aren't reading them.

Do you have a cleaning kit? They work wonders. I bought the one I have now from my school, and it was in such bad condition. I thought the lenses needed to be replaced, but after I cleaned it up it was okay.

hi mina,

sorry for doing this as a comment (i choose not to comment on the latest entry), but i couldn't find an email address. i found your blog while searching for this song, "silver lining", from amanda ghost. i saw it on e.r. (i know it's lame..), and i've been searching for it for two weeks now. i love it. so, i ask you as a favor: can you upload it again?

:-)

thank you anyway.

i don't give out my email address so it's okay to just comment here. :) feel free to comment on any entry because i tend to check my email every few days for lj comment emails. do you just want "silver lining"? i can upload the entire album for you, if you want. i have to check to see if it's still on my computer though.

Hi Mina,

I've managed to get "silver lining" meanwhile, but thank you anyway :-) i would love to hear more from amanda, but i think uploading the entire album would be too much to ask for. thanks.
