The trick with the World Cup is liking lots and lots of people. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

And sometimes you're embarassed for your nation because they lost 6-0 to Argentina.

yes, i just looked him up and am staring at pictures! i think i could love him a lot.

that makes sense. i don't think i like enough. for me it was really only spain and england, and occasionally other teams like australia but they didn't ever stand a chance really. it's not that i don't like any of the other teams though, i just don't have any feelings towards them either way.

ha, that amused me more than it should. but hey, i think the us national team is a synonym for embarrassment. i'm with you on that one.

I pretty much like like everyone with a few notable exceptions. Some teams, I'm also meh about, so if it's good football, I'll be happy.

Dude, it was more than hilarious. We've got a decent Under-21s team, so we'll see if in a few years things change.

david odonkor is awesome. :) this was actually his first time with the national team. at the first team meeting they had him start a chant "we are a..." and the entire team would shout out "team" at the end. it was a way to make him feel like a part of the group. i thought that was sweet. it's talked about in this article.

chelsea want to go after my favorite player as well, philipp lahm, but they got shut off by bayern. at least, that's what i read on one of the many websites i've been checking lately. anyways, you still have to like germany. i still love them even though i'm depressed as no words can describe right now.
