Reading inconsistently, yes. Update rarely.

Twitter has completely replaced the desire to write lengthy LJ posts that aren't targeted at a particular audience. So I need to re-think purpose before I start something new.

I know what you mean. The purpose of my LJ was initially to catalog life, an additional memory function, however with readership, inevitably censorship set in and suddenly it seems like all published materials is a pr effort and now with social networks, there is a whole load of blabbers...purpose of what you do with each is indeed really important!
