Blake got sent home from daycare with a fever yesterday afternoon. He can't go back until his temp's been down for 24 hours. Unfortunately, it was still 103.2F when I put him to bed last night - and that's with meds on board. :( So today I'm staying home with him. We FINALLY went grocery shopping last night. Our fridge was so bare that I actually had Kyle take everything out and defrost it before we went. We take great pleasure in using coupons and buying the things that are on sale. Whenever we walk out we guess at the percentage that we saved. Last night was probably our best yet.... at 52%! I just wanted to share with you that I found a 2-inch long piece of metal in a popcorn ball that my daughter received while trick-or-treating here on Friday. The same day Kyle & I took B to the Sunflower Farm, zannahope and I took him to go pick pumpkins at Rock Creek. There were fields and fields of bright orange pumpkins, many of them still on the vine. A couple weekends ago we took Blake out to the Sunflower Farm. Even though he was a little grumpy - from having been awaken from his nap - we had lots of fun.
