Coming back to Portland after 3 months on the Mississippi Gulf Coast has been a shock to me. The weather when I first got here was cold and damp, much like how it was down there when I left at times but not nearly as harsh as it is up here. Yeah, so I'm headed home on Sept. 9th and I'll be in Portland, OR for about 3 weeks or so till I head back down here to New Orleans after working for my Dad for a little while. I'm busy. Waay too busy this week than last week, which was just a nerve racker. I found out that they want me down in New Orleans a week sooner than I thought (May 29th instead of June 4th like I was TOLD!!!). The last two weeks have easily been the two busiest work weeks I've had since the Fall. Even though I took my dad to the hospital and had half of Monday to go do the volunteering at the school I had overtime ours.
