Thursday Jen and I went to the Denver Botanical Gardens.  Very pretty place, I don't think it's as big as the Missouri Botanical Gardens but it really packs in the flowers.

Passing the camera back and forth we took 170 pictures so I'm only showing a few pictures I really liked.  The 200mm lens on my new Nikon really does a nice job of getting in ( Read more... )

The second and third days we spent driving in the mountains west of Boulder and  up to the top of Rocky Mountain National Park.  I highly recommend the drive, especially in a convertible!!

Don't make the mistake I did though: no amount of sunscreen is quite enough at those altitudes... I should have worn a hat.

Left Indianapolis early morning on July 2nd, drove straight through though I did stop in Salina, Kansas for a long lunch with my stranded parents. Their car was making funny noises so they stopped for the night so a mechanic could take a look...

Ate at the Sawasdee Thai restaurant at 86th and Ditch last night... Busy little place but good food.

Definitely want to go back there again!

Disc golf first thing this morning.. That was great fun eventhough I was half an hour late because I couldn't find the place. Oh well, got there in time to join in on the back 9 holes.

Lazy afternoon crowned with grilling some beef kebobs.. Mmmmm... Nice enough out to eat on the deck.

Tuesday morning, 40 hours in this week already.

Servers are limping along, should survive the day.
