Amazing ..
[It's more to himself than anyone else that he's speaking. He approaches the bonfire, lost in his thoughts and the world of trees he is reading about. It's not until he's far closer to Odette and the warmth of the flames, that he realizes he is no longer alone and blinks, attention lifting from the pages.]

[Then he eyes the treat curiously, ears flicking slightly. He looks ratehr openly confused with it.]

Heavens, child, this is delightful! I can see why you would make a point of eating these at regular intervals!
[He looks pleased as punch as he takes a second bigger bite and chews.]

[He, bein the suave faun he is, will move to take her hand and give it one of those gentle kisses on it that gentlemen of good breeding know to do. Or, atleast fauns of good training. Years at court could have a good effect on people, after all!]

A terrible thing, indeed... there is never a time when manners should not be minded, nor a courtesy to a lady shown. I thank my father for raising me in a way fitting for public decency.

[He glances at the proffered seat as she scoots and the nods.]

[He clips over and moves to sit alongside, Odette, exhaling softly as he relaxes.]
