I must say, my first day in the employ of Fogg's Asylum has been rather peculiar.  First of all, when I arrived, I distinctly hear someone outside say something along the lines of "looks like the doc's got a new toy".   This was distinctly unsettling, but I did my best to ignore it ( Read more... )

What exactly, my dear, were you expecting? If a woman is to take on a stressful job intended for a man... Well, it's only natural that you'd hallucinate. I do, however, give you my humble respect as regards to you not fainting. Quite a feat!

As for Mr. Fogg; don't you worry about him. He's a delightful man. Have you seen his itunes playlist? He's got good taste!

I thank you for your concern, though it seems odd that I would hallucinate on my first day. Ah well.

In any case, as the Beadle you may have had run-ins with a few of my patients. Would you say the majority are curable?

Well yes, but then you are judging yourself with male standards. It's a whole different situation... You see, scientificallay and physiologicallay, the female brain is less capable... So, again, I can understand your woes.

Curable? I can't possiblay say... I don't make the judgments as to whether they are sane or not in the first place. I don't really think about it to be honest. I'm hazarding to guess that it's the opposite though. The minority are curable.

That is a shame about the patients. SO far,most of them seem more frightened then violent. I'd had hopes.
