[The video feed flickers on and shows Lavi and he looks a bit ragged as well, a half-healing cut on his cheek and what looks to be a baseball bat held in his one hand barely visible on the comm]

Mm? [A pause and he looks more closely at the lettering for a long moment, murmuring under his breath]

...If m' translatin' is right, it's comin' out to say 'the... abnormal ones... are coming' or somethin' along those lines. Doesn't exactly fill me with optimism hearin' that...

Yeah, that... kind of sounds foreboding, along with the rest of the things we found.

Of course, the only thing we know that keeps 'coming' are new people. Think we might be the 'abnormal ones' in this situation? Or do you think it's some sort of... fortelling of sorts.

He wasn't injured or anything, was he? I couldn't see anything on him, but that didn't mean he wasn't. And if he was, then I'd suspect Nursey McFix-it has a hand in this.

Knowing this place, anything is possible. I wouldn't have believed in magic when I got here, but now... yeah.

Actually. The place where we found this information had a slab where the altar once was. Four shackles at each corner and big enough to hold a grown person. Considering there was also some dried blood around the room, well... I definitely wouldn't rule the sacrifice thing out.
