I will stay or go if the game does. I'm in two other games (one of which is moving and one of which is polling right now) and I really don't mind staying or going.
I'm getting a mobile device soon and I hear LJ is a pain, and so I think DW might be easier and more accessible in that sense, and I know quite a few games are talking about moving as it is, so there should be no problem scrounging up a solid playerbase if the majority of LJRPers move to DW.
Beyond that...everyone else has made excellent arguments to go and/or to stay, and the pros/cons, so I won't reiterate any of that. I feel bad for all of the people with paid time that this is buggering with. :(
See, I was previously of the opinion that "Bah, I have paaaaaaid accounts" -- one of them is good until September. I didn't want to waste them. However, as the release settled in a bit, I noticed that there were certain aspects about the new comments that don't sit right with me and the attitude toward the user base I've seen is intolerable. Any concerns I politely raised were just ignored as one of the many complaints by a bunch of 'whiners' that'd get used to it, apparently.
I've already made a few accounts on DW and it isn't bad at all. The people that run it seem to be swell and actually RECEPTIVE to their users which is nice. I've only been involved in LJRP since the beginning of September but I've noticed that LJ seems to lack any concept of rolling back disliked releases or actually listening to complaints. This isn't going to change. There is a severe lack of Christmas miracles! ;)
I love this game. If it stays, I will stay -- but I would seriously like it if we made a move.
I think both Ally and Sarah pretty much summed up exactly how I feel earlier on in this discussion - lj has completely destroyed my desire to tag here on a number of levels and I really don't see that changing now. All this recent business of dreamwidth with the Order has really proven to me that dreamwidth is not only as good as lj used to be for rp - but it's better. Sure it has a few annoying coding glitches when it comes to aesthetic design in profiles and font sizes but hell, there are ways to get around it if you don't mind being creative with your coding! I pretty much live dreamwidth now; the admin team have been absolute darlings about the exodus and I can only see things getting better for us roleplayers over there with time

I'll go wherever the game goes. However, Stats already has a DW and has imported everything there. I also have a personal preference for DW, for the reasons stated above by everyone else.
Okay. As fond as I am for Sherlock's kerberjillion icons, the new commenting system really is unbearable. It's making it positively frustrating to even try to roleplay properly and my tagging drive has actually sauntered down to a slow. The cons do outweigh the pros a bit, and I'm considering what I've paid for, money spent on like a decent meal that I've ended up upchucking.
Although as a point of reference, I do sometimes tag around with an iPad/My Mobile and accessibility is an issue. The pages take longer to load and the functionality of the icon browser is lost. Not all of us tag around in desktops or laptops. It looks pretty terrible on netbooks as well. So do consider the move for them at least.
Addendum to the S2 thing, LJ is considering the possibility of custom comment pages - there is no word weather or not this is a paid only feature and if or when it will be readily available for everyone. Also according bookshop - they're making a habit of deleting comments made by deleted journals as well. Other arguments have been made
