Race is an adult problem

And it's stupid. But the whole race issue looks different when it's coming from a black source. Yet again I find myself the victim in intraracial racism and , yah, it bothers me. I wish i could explain what's so poisonous about it but i can't find any analogy that comes close.

Damn.

Any chance at elaboration?

I work with two African co-workers. I'm almost used to American black people throwing out all the ways I'm not black. But the two Africans, in spite of me showing interest in their culture, have this tut-tut attitude and at least one has explained that I've been brainwashed by the white man and until I explore my heritage I will never know who I am.

I...it....gah!

Man... what would they say about geeky, Alberta-livin' me?

The thing is about those people, my dear... is that they're dickheads. Huge, floppity, flaccid dickheads (It makes it easier to put their heads up their ass). And believe you me, I've gotten SHITLOADS of that kind of thinking all through life, especially from white people ("Dude, I thought you'd be... y'know... blacker"). And really, there's only one recourse to this.

Ignore them.

I know, simplistic, seems like it wouldn't work, but it's the only strategy. They're dickheads, thus they don't have ears, so whatever carefully crafted arguments you have to dismantle their argument will fall on nonexistant ears. So, ignore them. Don't talk to them, don't acknowledge their hatespeech, and certainly don't take their comments to heart. Just realize that they're big, floppity, shriveled, pencil-y dickheads and they won't be able to bother you. Trust me. Quicker you do this, the better.

You have put quite the image in my head. If I can't stop laughing at work, I know why!
