Let's arrest the pope!

Jul 27, 2010 14:25

If we have to pay in order to have the pope come over and visit us (which we apparently do), then at least we could get value for money by arresting him on charges of ongoing child sex abuse within his organisation.

Skip this if you like the pope or the government )

Ken Clark rugby-tackling the Pope while puffing crazily on his Hannibal Smith-style cigar - I'd pay to see that.

The whole situation is ridiculous, I suggest everyone turns up anywhere he's appearing in public and indulges in random acts of snogging with a same sex chum. Maybe he'll gouge his own eyes out to avoid the horror.

Well, I feel it's fair for people to be able to choose whether or not they want to read my rantings.

Like trigger warnings, for politics.

I'm from a Catholic family. I'm not one myself. I still find the whole thing utterly agonising. The gradual disintegration of the church is not a pretty thing to watch.

I'd like to think placing pressure on the coalition to place pressure on the pope would be the way to go. Certainly, as I understand it, that's what Spain has been doing for years.
