[drama cd] Theater of Pain (Mission 0103)

Jan 22, 2007 00:00

Suddenly on a whim, decided to start translating Theater of Pain. This is kind of an intricate story and I hope I'll be able to keep these coming on a semi-regular basis so I don't drag it along too much.

...and before you get too excited, this is the only track where Knight makes an appearance, unfortunately. ;___;

Mission 0103

Setting: Knight has gone undercover as a reporter to investigate a certain religious organization suspected of trafficking in drugs and firearms. He has gained access to their factory under the pretense of a photo op, however...

Knight: I hadn't thought that I would be permitted to have a photo shoot inside of the factory.

Taizen: It doesn't matter what the press wishes to cover, since there is nothing suspicious going on around here.

Knight: Umm....what was this place again? Holy...?

Taizen: Holy Work Factory.

Knight: Ooh, right, right. If I remember correctly...you manufacture computer parts here. However...

Taizen: Hm? However, what?

Knight: I don't actually see anything resembling computer parts?

Taizen: Ah...my apologies. I'm afraid I've been telling you lies.

Knight: Lies?

Taizen: It was unacceptable conduct for a Founder, was it not? *he opens a door*

Knight: Taizen-san!?

Taizen: We make these here.

Knight: Guns?

Footsteps of people running up.

Taizen: This is a clandestine gun manufacturing plant, but it's also a place to save impure souls. Hmph! Press coverage on the daily lives of our believers? Bullshit! What are you investigating!?

Knight: Oh. So you've found me out.

Taizen: Bastard! Are you trying to extort us?

Knight: Where are the family members of the attorney Mr. Kimizuka that you kidnapped? Where have you hid them!? Answer me!

Taizen: Do it!

The men cock their guns.

Taizen: Goodbye. Rest in peace. *starts to walk off*

Knight: Wait!

Taizen: Hm? Ah, unfortunately, I can't be tainting my hands with impure blood. But I'll say a prayer, just for you.

Knight: Just wait. If you died, then who's going to pray for me?

Taizen: What's that?

Knight: I wouldn't move from there if I were you. If you move forward just 30 centimeters, I'm not going to guarantee a thing.

Taizen: What are you talking about?

Knight: Your life. I am talking about your life.

Explosions go off, people yelling and screaming as debris flies everywhere.

Taizen: *coughing and sputtering* What's going on!?

Knight: See? If you were just 30 centimeters off, you would've been blown to smithereens.

Taizen: You bastard!

Knight: All this destroyed, and still no one's died. As expected of Pawn. A perfect job.

Taizen: Who the hell are you!? You're no extortionist, are you?

Knight: Just a destroyer. *throws off his disguise* It's checkmate! Founder of the Ship of Light, Sato Taizen!

Taizen: It can't be....Crashers!?

Knight: *points his weapon at him* Now, you will answer me. Where are you hiding the Kimizuka family?

Taizen: Hmph! I already told you...this is the place where we save impure souls.

Knight: You're not saying that you...!?

Taizen: Aah, that's right. They were our moving targets for our secretly manufactured guns. Hahahah! Their tainted souls were extinguished upon becoming the foundation for the Ship of Light. Hahahah!

Knight: *grabs him and strangles him* You rotten bastard!!

Taizen: Hn...! Turn me in to the police if you will! I've got money! Police, judges, politicians, the press! I'll throw wads of money at them! No one will be able to judge me!

Footsteps approach.

Taizen: Hah! I will have the last laugh!

Knight: You...

Taizen: Too bad!

Knight: You've gone too far. I had thought we could take care of this with us Crashers, but it looks like the reapers have come to pass their judgment on you.

Taizen: What?

Knight: I didn't want to see this..

Taizen: What...what are you saying?? Hey!!

Elsewhere, the members of Weiss have come to take out the others.

Nikaidou: Hey! Don't! What are you doing, pointing that thing at me??

Omi: Supreme Executive of the Ship of Light, Nikaidou Tsuyoshi! For the murders of the Kimizuka family and for the kidnap and murder of numerous believers, you are hereby executed!

Nikaidou: Who...are you??

Omi: The dark executioners....Weiss! *he shoots and kills him*

Yohji: *strings up his victim with his wire* Hey, Muraki...how many people do you think died from the drugs that you made? Go die so you can beg for their forgiveness! *kill him* Oh...that's right, you can't. Because you're going to hell.

Nitta: Aaaah!! Save me!

Ken: Hey, hey...where are you running off to, Nitta? Isn't it your duty to protect the Founder and the Executive?

Nitta: Please! Let me go! I was just doing what I was told by the Founder!

Ken: What did you do to all the believers who begged for their lives, just like this? HUH!?

Nitta: *screams and runs*

Ken: I'm asking you what did you DO!? *kills him*

Omi: *runs up* How's the guard?

Ken: As you see.

Omi: Ok, so let's go to Aya-kun.

Yohji: Huh? Why? I've already done my part.

Omi: What do you mean why? Aren't you worried? You heard that explosion, didn't you? Something must've happened!

Yohji: Omi...I meant to ask you before, but why did you decide to do this work?

Omi: Eh?

Yohji: Is it to make friends with us? Then why don't you go pick up a stray dog and get friendly with it? Take your little friendships somewhere else!

Omi: Yohji-kun...

Back at the factory, the flames blaze in the background from the explosion as Aya finishes off Taizen.

Aya: What is the matter? Are you afraid to die? Train yourself once more, in hell! *kills him*

Knight: So it's done.

Aya: What are you guys...Crashers...doing here? You should've gotten formal orders from Queen to withdraw.

Knight: This was a mission that we Crashers had accepted first. It's not like we are uninvolved.

Aya: What did you think?

Knight: Eh?

Aya: After listening to Taizen's rubbish. We are the only ones who can judge Taizen - Weiss, the executioners. Not you guys.

Knight: Ran.

Aya: It's Aya now.

Knight: How should I know? Even now, you are--

Aya: There is no Ran. The Ran that you know isn't here anymore.
