I get that you think it entitles you to make up for whatever misery you endured in high school or grade school to like, become cliquey and elitist based soley on the fact that you happen to log more internet time than the average person.HEEEE!!!! I love this

wow. That board sounds....scary. But you are right, it happens everywhere. I saw some of that go down when I was moderately into a HP fandom group. It is just sad. Like, I don't care if people who were unpopular their whole life find some popularity through the internet. Because, whatever. But when the internet popularity translates into being rude and snobby? Then it just gets...really pathetic.
And I find it pathetic in any context. I was a cheerleader in school and got punched because I didn't approve of making fun of kids then. I'm certainly not going to approve of it on the flipside now.
Holy shit, that sounds like a completely evil board. Wow.
My skating team has little cliques. I'm not a cool kid there, but it's mainly because I am one of the older ones, I think. I'm well enough liked, but not invited to the "in group" things or know the cool "in jokes." Oh well.

But, you don't have to be cool to post on the internet, right? It's not like a rule or a law or something, is it? Because if it is... oh, shit!

I think it's just a good rule of thumb to say the internet doesnt' define you and shouldn't exclude you. Or...something.
