Squee! I too love Leverage, and will happily devour the recs.

I never got into American Idol, but I'm sort of intrigued by Adam Lambert (especially since Mikey apparently referred to him once as Gerard's stunt double). Will check out the interview when I'm not at work. :)

The interview is pretty adorable, but I think for you, the trick will be the performances -- buffyx did pretty fun Kris/Adam primer (heavy on the Kris for my taste -- Kris is ridiculously cute in pretty much all meanings of the word, but a little one-note musically and well, I tend to prefer cats to puppies) but still fab) that has embedded what are by far my favorite two Kris performances and Adam's to-die-for studio version of "Mad World," the Gary Jules performance. But what you should really see is the live version from the show. It's pretty much as understated as Adam gets, and it's gorgeous. You can get to all the performances in the little slidey bar at the bottom, though these official videos don't have the judge's commentary and all that, alas. As for his other performances... Hmm. Definitely check out his "Bohemian Rhapsody" audition (watch all the way to the end for the judges discussing how awesome he is after he's left, plus him being super-cute about getting to go on), and then, in vague order, I think I like: "Slow
