dear Justified

I really, really, really adore you. I'm still two episodes behind, but the last couple seriously hit it out of the park for me. Especially 1.11, which was almost everything I ever wanted in a Justified episode and plenty of things I didn't even know I wanted to boot.

spoilers up to Episode 1.11: Veterans )

I heard somewhere that Rachel and Tim aren't around as much because their actors only signed up for a certain number of episodes in the first season. Hopefully their contracts will change next season!

Enjoy the last two eps! They're good ones. ♥

Ah, that makes sense. I suspected it might be something like that, given how often we get one while the other is completely missing and vice versa, when it would feel more natural to have them both at least wandering through the background all the time. I, too, hope they'll be around more next season, contractually or otherwise!

They were indeed awesome! I just adore this show so much. And I'm so looking forward to next season! :D

*grins* I'm always happy to see another person for Raylan/Boyd. I couldn't get over the amount of same wavelength and silent conversations between those two in this episode. I'd noticed it in previous episodes, but since I had to warm up to Boyd as the season went on (hated him in the first episode) I didn't pay it any mind. And the episode over all was just... guh. ;)

I just went back and re-watched "Fire In The Hole" and holy crow, I'm trying to figure out how I missed all the underlying Raylan/Boyd. There was definitely a huge previous relationship that ended badly. *sigh* I'm already writing fic....

(Sorry for the delay in reply, I could have sworn I already replied to this but apparently I was confused... happens a lot these days!)

Raylan/Boyd seriously jumps straight off the screen, it's amazing. Boyd was indeed pretty annoying at first, but once we got to understand him a little more, he really grew on me. That actor is a little odd-looking (which I'm sure was magnified for the show), but he's so magnetic!

Yay, fic! :) Turns out I'm in a Tim headspace, wrote a fair chunk of scene, but I had to pause to work on a fic exchange fic in a different fandom.
