Really (the guy not the brownies) but what to do? I couldn't go out with him it would be so crazy. He's pretty young, plus where could he take me? Down the pub?

I repeat my somewhat vacuous advice of saturday night, but will elaborate: could you wait a bit and see what happens, and then just have him as a casual date-ee type thing? It needn't be a serious relationship, just some fun. But I agree with Maud on the whether-he-fancies-you thing. He probably wouldn't mention it to you if he was of the opinion that it wasn't something to promote!
