Caffeine

Why am I so addicted to the stuff? Sometimes it is the only thing that makes me happy in the day. It makes me bouncy, productive, but I KNOW it will be far more effective if I just reduce my dosage a little ( Read more... )

you sound right wired off those caffeine pills. they are addictive though. i hear that. i spend more money on pills than i do anything else.
i have one question.. how did you manage in october?!?!

ROFL! I can't believe you remember that!

I needed a break at that point in my life. I was so burned out from school/commuting/working over the summer that it was necessary. I wasn't training, I wasn't really studying, so those two excuses were gone.

It was just cold turkey, and somehow I did it!

I was hoping that it would reset me to a baseline of caffeine tolerance, but I am right back up there, and even worse than before. :(

i wish i could say that i remembered that, but you mentioned it in your post. heh

i can totally understand needing a break in your life. if you keep going and going, you're bound to burn out eventually. and hard.

i've never been able to cut it out cold turkey. i just change the form of caffeine. props to you!

the tolerance that we build up really blows. i don't get hyper like most people. it's the only way i can function now. but nothing more than that..
